The Roman Catholic Parish of Our Lady & St. Joseph in Orkney

Welcome to the website of the Catholic Parish of Our Lady and St Joseph's, situated in the Orkney Islands, located off the north coast of Scotland.

We are the only Roman Catholic Parish in the Orkney archipelago and we are part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Aberdeen. Our Parish is the northernmost Parish within St. Joseph's Highland Deanery.

Our Parish is a friendly community made up of people from all parts of the United Kingdom as well as people of various nationalities including Polish, Filipino and Italian. We are blessed with people of all ages including a large proportion of young families. Most of the parishioners live on Mainland Orkney but we do have a small number of people who live on the smaller Orkney Islands. During the summer months our numbers increase with visitors from all over the world who are always made to feel welcome.
